His departure is a profound loss for the entire CCH community across the globe. Mr. Mahfooz-ur-Rehman served Cadet College Hasan Abdal with unwavering dedication, professionalism, and integrity. During his tenure as Vice Principal, he played a central role in shaping the academic and disciplinary excellence for which CCH is known. His leadership strengthened the institution’s educational standards, enriched its co-curricular environment, and ensured that cadets were nurtured not only as students, but as future leaders of character. Beyond his years of service at Cadet College Hasan Abdal, he served in multiple prestigious institutions across the country, earning a reputation for discipline, leadership, and academic excellence. Throughout his service, he was admired for his calm authority, his deep commitment to student development, and his tireless efforts to uphold the values that define Abdalians. His contributions will continue to echo through the accomplishments of the countless Abdalians he inspired. We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and all who were privileged to learn from or work alongside him. 04:52 PM - 04:53 PM Gloucester MA,

The 20th Entry (class of 1978) held a reunion celebrating 40 years since leaving CCH and 45 years of friendship.Twenty entry mates came, two from UK, one from Canada and 17 from US. We stayed at a Beach House in Good Harbor beach in Gloucester MA. It was a grand old house with three floors, porches surrounding two floors and stunning views from every room.Sumptuous Pakistani meals were catered from a local Pakistani restaurant.Outings included walks on the beach and along the Bass Rocks and a short trip to Bearskin Neck in Rockport MA where we were treated to a fine meal by Farid Khan.Bicycles were arranged for a cycling trip along the  shore of beautiful Cape Anne for Sunday morning. Not surprisingly, no one got up early enough to go on this adventure. Some brave souls shed their clothes and dove into the cool waters of the Atlantic ocean for a refreshing swim at Good Harbor beach. Others were content to walk the beach and enjoy the scenery and good conversation. We stayed up till late hours sharing our lives over the past 40 years. We shared laughter, we discussed politics of Niya Pakistan and we discussed religion. No one got hurt during these candid conversations. What happened in Gloucester stays in Gloucester but below are photos from the memorable event.Photo credits: Asim Amin  OW / 20th entry (our class photographer)

20th Entry Reunion 2019

04:45 PM - 05:04 PM Gatlingburg TN

The 20th Entry (class of 1978) held a reunion celebrating 41 years since leaving CCH and 46 years of friendship.Fifteen entry mates came, one from as far as UAE and rest from US. We arrived on Friday afternoon and stayed at a couple of lovely Hunting Lodges / condos near Gatlingburg Tennessee. They were  large brand new wooden and rustic condos with three floors. The main floor had a large porch for the sootabaz to hang out and stunning views of the smoky mountains. It also had a large living room where we stayed up till very late both nights. For what little sleep we had, I stayed in the basement floor in a room with two bunk beds and 3 roommates. It was a warm reminder of our dorms in CCH. Only now after Lights Off we continued to talk till the wee hours. And once we were asleep there was a wing competition to see who could snore the loudest. The event host Lutf-ur-Rahman (AW) with abundant support from his family made meticulous logistical preparations. We had really terrific Pakistani food that Lutf brought all the way from Nashville the nearest big city. He and his family also made some Flan and other delicacies to die for.On Saturday morning, we woke up late around noon. We had a delicious Pakistani breakfast of Halwapuri, naan, Paye, Omelette etc. We then drove into Gatlingburg which was a charming, honky-tonk tourist town with lots of kitch. We walked around a bit and then took an aerial tram to a nearby peak. The views from the tram were stunning. We had some snacks there and then took a chairlift to an even higher peak. There we enjoyed a delightful country music performance. After that we went on bobsleds on wheels down the lovely forest covered mountain slopes. It was like being a kid again!Upon our return to the condo we enjoyed another fabulous Pakistani dinner and hung out again till very late. Dr. Imran-ul-Haq (AW), aka Mulla entertained us with his photographic memory of events in Hasanabdal and his endless jokes and stories. The next morning we had breakfast and there was a lot of hugging again as we said good bye. Atif Sohail Elahi generously gifted everyone a reunion sweatshirt that we all wore for our final photos together.Everyone was deeply grateful to our gracious host Lutf-ur-Rahman and his family for arranging all the details and making this another very successful reunion.
